An apartment house explosion in Swanton Village early Saturday morning left one man in the hospital with severe burns and several families homeless. The other six residents of the four apartments, including well-known singer and songwriter of the blues Jim Branca and his family, escaped without injuries. Read more

June is National Dairy Month and the first full summer weekend is upon us. This weekend marks the 54th year of Vermont Dairy Festivals. Most of the stage shows and entertainment are on the Lincoln Park Bandstand. All the outdoor entertainment is free. Read more

The Artist In Residence Gallery features painters Tess Beemer and Pat Murphy, photographer Peter Weyrauch, and fiber artist Andrew Wooten.
